I was contracted to redesign the logo for the Monash Society for Physics, Astro and Maths (SPAM). Their previous logo, whilst conveying the different aspects of the club and casual nature of membership, was outdated and too complicated, in bad need of a refresh.
I was given a document with some concepts to use when designing a new logo. This included things like:
In the end I decided to use the elements I've bolded in the list above.
